The radicalisation prevention e-learning course for prison, probation and judicial professionals
The online course is being developed through an interactive process and will be the result of concerted transnational cooperation between academia, private sector, research, correctional sector representatives (including prison and probation administrations), judicial professionals and other relevant practitioners.
The course will be piloted in Portugal, Poland, Romania, Germany and Italy and improved after the feedback of the user practitioners. |

The course aims to:
• Increase the understanding of the radicalisation process in prisons and probation;
• Train different types of practitioners (prison and probation staff) in the use of the tools and procedures for assessing radicalisation risk;
• Develop a guiding training programme for judges and prosecutors on how (and when) risk and needs assessment information should be used;
• And introduce the existing programmes and intervention strategies of radicalisation prevention for prison and probation services.
